During the pandemic and months of isolation, I started to paint quail - cheerful paintings with bright backgrounds. When the shops were closed, I ran out of canvas. I decided to paint on rocks and deliver them to friends in my neighbourhood to let them know I was thinking of them. Then I left them at Picture This Gallery to give to each person who bought a painting. So many people wanted them and offered to buy them that I finally started to sell the rocks as well as many more paintings of quail! And I am still painting our beloved quail!
